HEMSPAN® Bio Wall - 50mm Hemp Batts - Thermal And Acoustic Wall Insulation

50mm hemp fibre batts are rigid insulation slabs, ideal for use in external walls and pitched roofs. With their low water diffusion rate, they restrict the entry of water into the building fabric thereby reducing the risk of condensation or other moisture-related issues.

Hemp fibre batts have a low K-Value, which not only helps restrict heat loss through walls but also helps save on energy bills. They adapt perfectly to various building shapes, leaving no gaps. Their natural ability to absorb sound waves also makes them an excellent soundproofing material.

Hemp fibre insulation is made with natural hemp fibres and mineral binding agents. They are carbon-negative products, meaning they are made using sustainable resources that cause no harm to the environment. Hemp wool insulation promotes a healthier home environment. It is therefore an ideal replacement for wool or polystyrene insulation materials. 

Moreover, unlike wool insulation or polystyrene insulation which releases a lot of fibres or produces waste during installation, hemp fibre batts are very easy to install, they release no fibres during installation (though using PPE is recommended during installation) nor do they produce too much waste. They promote healthier and cleaner living conditions. Plus hemp fibre batts are completely safe to install.
