Aluthermo RoofReflex is a revolutionary reflective insulated underlay designed to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of your home or building whilst also protecting it from unwanted air and water ingress.

Made with high-quality,  hydrophobic and self-extinguishing polyester fibre, it is created out of recycled material to give you a breather membrane and also has soundproof and insulating properties.

This roof and wall underlay membrane is made from multi-layered materials and has low emissivity external face that reflects up to 95% of radiant heat, helping to keep your living spaces cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

RoofReflex® is extremely moisture vapour open but still remains 100% air-tight. It is designed in a way that keeps heat in while allowing unwanted moisture to leave the building, thereby creating a healthy internal living environment.

When used in combination with a vapour control layer, Novia Aluthermo Roofreflex protects the internal structure of the walls and roofs from condensation, damage, and helps ensure that the U-value of the insulation is maintained at an optimum level.

With its lightweight and flexible design, Aluthermo RoofReflex roof and wall breather membrane can be easily installed on a variety of roof types, including flat roofs, pitched roofs, and metal roofs. Its waterproof and vapour-permeable properties also help to prevent moisture buildup and reduce the risk of mould and mildew growth.

Furthermore, the vapour barrier membrane is LABC and EPC-approved, and does not need to be reversed in unventilated cavity applications.  In fact, when used with mineral wool insulation, the installation costs add up to be cheaper than PIR systems
