It is critical to maintain continuity and ensure that no gaps or spaces are left uninsulated. This would result in higher energy bills, owing to heat and energy loss through these gaps. However, it is quite difficult to insulate awkward bends on a pipe or the irregular spaces on the plasterboard or fill gaps in the insulation. This difficult task is made easy using Bostik Evo-Stik expanding spay foam filler.
Evo-Stik expanding spray foam adhesive is easy to use. It sets and forms a semi-rigid structure, which is flexible yet firm. The cured product of the spray foam filler can be cut, painted or plastered with ease. It gives superior adhesion to a variety of construction materials including wood, hardwood, plaster etc.
Expanding foam fillers give the necessary friction for joints between walls, ceilings and so on. This expanding foam filler is versatile in application and compatible with most building materials.

Uses:
Uses of Evo-Stik expanding spray foam filler include:
- To insulate awkward angles and spaces around pipes, ducts, cables, wall boards etc.
- Can be used for perimeter joints around door and window frames.
- Expanding foam fillers can fill gaps around pipes ducts, cables etc.
Application:
- Shake the can vigorously at least 30 times before use. Carefully remove the protective cap of the spray foam filler and carefully screw the applicator nozzle onto the valve. Do not force the foam out with any tools or device.
- Moisten surfaces well before application for improved adhesion and curing
- Turn the can upside down and apply pressure to the applicator nozzle. Vary pressure to control the flow of foam.
- Fill approximately half the required depth of the cavity as the foam will expand.
- Foam sets in 8. After 10 to 20 minutes the foam will become tack free. After 1 hour it is fully hours, depending on factors like humidity and temperature.
- Once cured, you can trim the excess with a sharp blade.
Precautionary Measures:
- Work in a properly ventilated space, away from any fire or electric components like switches etc.
- If exposed to sunlight the cured foam must be painted over.
- Always store the can at temperatures, not exceeding 50*C, in a vertical position.
- Do not use any external tools or devices to get the foam out.
- Follow the manufacturer's guidelines while using this expanding spray foam filler.
