How to Use:
Ensure the substrate is dry, do not apply if there is any standing water or condensation, take care to ensure the rubber is free from loose, sharp and foreign materials including oil/grease and other contaminates.
Ambient and substrate temperatures must be at minimum 5°C.
Remove the lid from the packaging then stir the EPDM primer thoroughly before and during use.
Use a brush, solvent resistant roller or abrasive pad and apply the primer on the rubber surface evenly to avoid any puddles and clumps of the primer.
Allow the primer to dry; touch primer with a clean finger and push forward to ensure the primer does not stick or string. If the primer is sticky or stringy the primer needs longer to dry.
Drying time can differ and is dependent on the current conditions such as temperature and humidity.
Once the primer is dry and ready the pressure sensitive tape should be applied as soon as possible and with the use of a suitable pressure roller pressure should be applied to the accessory to ensure a suitable and secure bond is achieved.
