insulated ducting

A flexible insulated ducting is perfect for your HVAC requirements. How? Let us explain!

Insulated Flexible Duct by STÖRNCH Ventilation is ideal for insulating the many awkward vents install applications that you will encounter in the H&V system of a building. It is specially designed with top-quality materials to protect the internal sir from losing or gaining heat, which means it helps save both energy and money.

Insulated flexible ducting is ideal for connecting rigid spiral ductwork to outlets via a plenum, or simply to an air valve - can be used for supply or return sections. It is also ideal for use in cold spaces, bathrooms, kitchens etc. A flexible insulated duct is probably the most convenient way to attach supply air outlets to the rigid ductwork, with ease.

They are made from top-quality materials that ensure dimensional stability to optimise airflow. The spiral of carbon steel wire is corrosion-resistant. This ensures durability.

The 25-30mm fibreglass insulation mainly serves to enhance the air temperature and reduces the noise transmission through the system.  Therefore, the insulated flexible ducting not only saves energy but also has soundproof ductwork giving you a quieter home and a more efficient workplace.

Flexible insulated ducting hose by STÖRNCH Ventilations is made using 3 main components:

The core:  Made of multi-ply aluminium and polyester laminate inner wall with carbon steel wire spiral.

Insulation:  25-30mm Fibreglass Insulation. A transparent interliner between the inner duct and the fibreglass insulation prevents migration into the air system

Outer jacket: Multi-ply aluminium and polyester laminate forms the outer wall (jacket)
