K Flex rubber sheet insulation is a standard, elastomeric nitrile rubber sheet made with top-quality foamed Buna-R. Buna-R is known for its low thermal conductivity, resistance to corrosion and for providing long-lasting insulation. While there are many uses for rubber foam insulation, this elastomeric sheet made by K Flex is specifically used to insulate large pipes and ducts in industrial and commercial settings. It can also be used for residential purposes.

Nitrile rubber is a closed-cell insulation that effectively prevents heat loss from pipes and ducts. With a low K-value, they help improve energy savings and reduce energy bills. When rubber foam insulation is used to insulate pipes and ducts they not only restrict heat loss or gain in the application, but also increases dew point which prevents condensation or sweating around pipes and ducts.

In addition, rubber pipe insulation does not support or promote the growth of fungi or mould. They offer effective fire insulation and have a Euroclass B rating. Plus, nitrile rubber sheets are very easy to install. They are flexible and lightweight. Since this continuous nitrile rubber insulation is manufactured as a one-meter-wide roll, they are quite easy to work with and install on large pipes and ducts.

K-Flex continuous nitrile rubber insulation comes in varying lengths. When you buy this rubber pipe insulation online from us, we cut it to lengths of 1m, 2m, 5m etc, so you spend only on the material that you need.

Ideally, this flexible duct insulation is used to insulate indoor pipes and ductwork, but it can also be used to insulate outdoor pipes if they are covered or clad with appropriate cladding material like PIB insulation. Plus, this nitrile rubber sheet can be used to insulate many pipes and ducts as it functions efficiently in temperatures between -165 °C* to +85 °C.
