MuteClip channel is a key element in the muteClip soundproofing system, working in conjunction with other products, like isolation clips, to provide maximum noise reduction. Its dual density construction enhances its ability to absorb and dissipate sound, making it a highly effective solution for controlling unwanted noise.

Muteclip soundproofing channel is backed dual-density silicone, which acts as a shock absorber surrounding the fixing and buffering the metal clip. This MuteClip Channel is then ‘clicked’ into the MuteClip® system providing a slimline and ‘de-coupled’ frame to attach plasterboards

Together with the MuteClip isolation clip system, Muteclip channel helps deliver the highest standard of soundproofing. Together, they build a ‘de-coupled’ frame for wall and ceiling soundproofing. Plasterboard or other soundproofing materials can be installed onto this ‘de-coupled’ frame to enhance or further improve acoustics. The de-coupled frame works by reduces the transfer of sound vibrations through your wall or ceiling and into your space. It reduces both airborne and impact noises from travelling to your space or rooms.

This Muteclip channel is simply installed using standard drywall screws.  They can be easily cut to size, either snip the shoulders with tin snips or saw through with a hack saw. The top face of the MuteClip soundproofing channel is knurled for easy of fixing. Simply squeeze the channel into your clips for a satisfying click into place.

Once completed the MuteClip isolation clip and channel system has a width of just 40mm. When finished with a single layer of acoustic plasterboard and acoustic mineral wool on masonry wall that’s just 55mm for a 54dB* Noise reduction, which gives you a significant reduction in sound!
