PHS Apollo 2 Vapour Control Membrane is a high-performance solution designed to provide superior airtightness and vapour control for your building projects. Ideal for roof and wall constructions, this vapour control layer is essential for maintaining the integrity of your insulation and enhancing the overall energy efficiency of your structures.

Key Features:

  • High Vapour Resistance: The PHS Apollo 2 has an optimum fixed vapour resistance level of Sd - 27m. This feature ensures an ideal level of vapour control by preventing diffusion of internal vapour into the building envelope back in winter and allowing diffusion in summer. This, in-turn prevents a build-up of condensed water vapour within the building envelope, that facilitates mildew growth and constructional damage
  • Airtight Membrane: Achieve superior airtightness with the Apollo 2, reducing draughts and enhancing thermal performance.
  • Durability: Constructed from premium materials, this VCL membrane offers long-lasting performance, even in demanding environments.
  • Versatile Applications: Suitable for a range of applications, including attics, lofts and internal walls

Installing PHS Apollo 2 vapour barrier:

  • This VCL membrane should be applied perpendicular to the direction of the application surface i.e. studs, rafters and joists.
  • It should be fixed with PHS Double Sided Tape. PHS Argo joining Tape or a suitable PHS Grommet should be used for penetrations.
  • For bonding barrier overlaps, penetrations and repair spots, PHS Argo or a similar tape is recommended. 
  • For connections to concrete or masonry PHS Internal Adhesive Sealant is recommended.
  • Ensure there is a 100mm overlap of the membranes and tape with PHS Argo Tape or another suitable tape.

  • The vapour barrier is 1.5 wide and 50m Long. Covers 75 Sqm
  • Enables airtightness and vapour control in roof and wall constructions.
  • CE approved vapour control layer (according to DIN EN 13984)
  • Has an optimum fixed vapour resistance level of Sd - 27m
