Protecta FR Acrylic, is a fire rated sealant is designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through joints and openings in fire-rated walls and floors. This versatile fire protection product is specially formulated for sealing all types of constructions, including drywall and concrete, making it suitable for both walls and floors.
Key Features:
- Intumescent Properties: Protecta FR Acrylic forms a durable intumescent char when exposed to fire, effectively preventing the passage of fire and smoke for periods up to and beyond 4 hours. Under fire exposure, FR Acrylic creates a robust fire seal by the formation of a durable intumescent char.
- Versatile Application: Ideal for sealing around building service penetrations and commonly used pipe insulations, including CPVC pipes like BlazeMaster.
- Elasticity and Adhesion: This sealant retains a degree of elasticity. When subjected to atmospheric conditions, the fire rated sealant cures to accommodate joint movement and ensuring a robust fire seal. It is suitable for most surfaces, including plastics and non-porous materials.
- Quick Drying: Tack-free and hardens after 1 hour, Protecta FR Acrylic cures to create a robust seal that is resistant to atmospheric conditions, maintaining its fire performance specification. The fire performance specification of the joint filler has been derived when the joint filler has been let to cure for a month
- Acoustic Design Performance: In addition to fire protection, this sealant enhances the acoustic design by minimizing noise transmission through joints and openings.
- Safe and Effective: Classified for fire sealing, it causes no deleterious effects to CPVC pipes and is designed to maintain a high fire performance specification.

Returns And Cancellations
- You are free to cancel the order and get a full refund before we confirm the order via email.
- Once the order is confirmed and a delivery date is issued, orders cannot be cancelled.
- If ordered in excess, or no longer required, please let us know by email or call and we will assist accordingly. Buyer pays postage
- Returns are applicable within 14 days of the date of receipt. A restocking fee may be applicable.
