Protecta FR Graphite Sealant is a high-performance fire protection solution, specifically designed to fire seal difficult services, which traditional fire-rated mastics cannot achieve. This sealant, known for its FR Graphite formula, is engineered to expand when subjected to fire, closing openings around penetrations such as large plastic pipes or any combustible and low-temperature melting materials that have burnt away. It effectively prevents the spread of fire, smoke, and gases through openings in fire-rated walls and floors.
Unlike traditional fire-rated mastics, Protecta FR Graphite excels in sealing complex services and difficult penetrations, ensuring a secure fire seal in passive fire protection systems. It is suitable for use on various surfaces, including gypsum, concrete, brick, LECA, and more.
Protecta FR Graphite sealant is designed for easy application without priming, and it is suitable for cable trays, large plastic pipes, and other challenging transit services. Its fire performance specification ensures maximum fire protection, closing gaps and preventing the spread of fire and smoke.

- High Specification Graphite: The sealant features a high specification heat-expanding graphite material designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
- Water-Based Compound: FR Graphite is a water-based fire-classified sealing compound, ensuring safe and easy application on PVC and most non-porous surfaces.
- Thermal Activation: Upon exposure to fire, the heat-expanding graphite material activates, expanding to fill gaps and maintain fire resistance.
- Curing: The sealant may shrink during curing, and should be left to harden for a month for optimal performance.

Returns And Cancellations
- You are free to cancel the order and get a full refund before we confirm the order via email.
- Once the order is confirmed and a delivery date is issued, orders cannot be cancelled.
- If ordered in excess, or no longer required, please let us know by email or call and we will assist accordingly. Buyer pays postage
- Returns are applicable within 14 days of the date of receipt. A restocking fee may be applicable.
