Therma-foil is made with a 2.5mm Polyethylene foam coated with metallised barrier on one side. It is made to make your home more energy-efficient by keeping your house warmer in winter, as it reflects the heat in. Therma-foil also helps reduce energy bills in summer as it keeps the heat indoors and your central heating won’t need to be on as high, or as long, and more.
This unique combination of PE foam and foil makes it idesl for use in almost every corner of your home including underfloors, lofts, in walls, behind radiators, and much more.
In addition to improved thermal performance, Therma-foil also improves airtightness by acting as a vapour barrier resisting airflow thorugh draughty floorboards, therby reducing the passage of moisture. In addition, Therma-foil also helps reduce passage of sound up to 18dB. It is corrosion, mould and mildew resistant.

Installing Therma-Foil
Therma-Foil should be placed foil side into the house. For added effect place the second layer of foil outward to reflect cold away (and in the summer heat).
- Measure out the area where the Therma-Foil will be installed. Cut the roll Of therma-Foil to the correct lengths to fill the room. We recommend a slight overlap of about 50mm.
- Place the Therma-Foil rolls down, with the reflective foil side towards you.(face up). Tape it using Duck/Gaffer tape
- Check your insulation is flat and there are no air bubbles anywhere. If there is it’s easy to just push them out.
- Staple the insulation onto the floor wall (wherever you are placing it. We recommend that you should staple Therma-Foil every 16” to 24”. Keep it tight to ensure it stays flat.)

Foil insulation can be returned, provided they are in a resalable condition within 14 days from the date of receipt. Buyer pays postage and is responsible to return the product to the return address provided on email. Restocking fee will eb applicable
